At Shilpa Trust toys are hand crafted from sustainable wood that is dyed with natural vegetable dyes and finished with lead free non-toxic organic resin called lacqure.

To bring about as attitude of self help and collective power among artisans and to promote development of handicrafts for the economic development of artisans through various exhibitions, sales, influencing Govt. policy and the development of skills of artisans.

This organisation reflects in its structure a commitment to justice, fair employment and progressive work practice with fair-trade principles. It strives in teaching artisans how to “fish” and develop the self-dependency.
